Our service team has restored an Anval Rotary Floating Shoe Valve (RFS) for an iron ore mining operation. Upon inspection of the rotary floating shoe valve, the following was found:

  • Guard: Missing some fasteners; the remaining ones are rusted and need replacement. The guard is in serviceable condition.
  • Chain: Missing and required replacement.
  • Sprocket: Worn teeth and a damaged grub screw; replacement required.
  • Bearings: D.E. and N.D.E. units will be replaced. N.D.E. is missing grease fittings and requires replacement.
  • Side Plates/Inspection Cover: Both are serviceable.
  • Body Internals: Contaminant buildup noted; body remains serviceable.
  • Rotor Assembly: Worn ceramic tips with corrosion; replacement needed.
  • Shaft: Worn from seal contact; replacement required.
  • Floating Shoe: Some corrosion present; OEM recommends replacement.
  • Seals: All seals need replacement.
  • Gearbox: Damaged input housing requires replacement. The worn sprocket needs replacement. Oil is normal and clean. Input shaft and gears are serviceable. Input bearings, oil seal, and o-ring; casing gasket and output oil seal require replacement. Casing and output shafts/ gears are serviceable.

Our service team expertly repaired the Anval Rotary Floating Shoe Valve (RFS), fitted it with replacement parts, and performed comprehensive servicing. We also conducted a performance test, applied paint and preservation coatings, wrapped it for protection, and transported it on an anti-slip daywalk pallet.
