Impressive Booster System assembled for Irrigation Company in New Zealand

News

The North Otago Irrigation Company required an irrigation booster system to provide access to constant water and irrigation to the community and environment.

The engineering team supplied four systems for the project which included thirty (30) Grundfos pumps in total.

The largest flow of the system is 285 litres per seconds with the longest being measured at 8.2 metres in length. The irrigation booster systems were assembled in Christchurch with the entire project team taking over 12 months to complete it.

Potable Water Skid for the Gorgon Gas Project

A similar design by Dynapumps was a Potable Water skid for the Gorgon Gas Project in Western Australia. The project is one of the world's major natural gas projects with a production volume of 2.6 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 20,000 barrels of condensate produced each day.

The Potable Water skid for the gas project comprised of four (4) Grundfos CRN90-2 Multistage 316ss vertical pumps coupled to 30 kW 2 pole ex’d Siemens Motor driven by Grundfos Variable Speed Drives.

The pumps were then tested to AS2417 Grade 2 and the manifolds hydro tested to ASME B16.5, the 316ss piping manifold was welded to ASME B31.3 requirements and encompassing isolation valves, non-return valves, air release valves and drain valves. Common base frame welded in accordance with AS1554.1 and galvanised.

Dynapumps have been distributing Grundfos products for many years and manufacture a wide range of high quality pumps and systems.
