Founded in Australia in 1871 the company has provided many solutions to the nation's water supply needs in all areas of industrial, mining and agricultural development, as well as to many overseas markets.

Southern Cross operates a manufacturing facility in Withcott, Queensland, which incorporates an in-house non-ferrous foundry, fabricating factory, pump manufacturing and product warehouse and distribution centre.
